So this week has been kinda rough in the illustration world. Got slapped in the face hard, I need to pick things up and work work work!!! A big thing I learned is that a great drawing doesn't necessarily equate to a great illustration. It doesn't matter how beautiful a drawing is if it doesn't solve the problem. All this week all I've gotten from my instructors and peers was "...well..it's a nice drawing...but..." man on man hearing that sucks. I just feel like I've been slacking. Like I mentioned before, I need to work work work!!!
Speaking of which, here are some of the assignments I've done in Illustration 3 with Adam McCauley..
1: Design characters: Blanca Bianca and Velvet Twinkle 22
2: Anti-thesis... Illustration a word using it's opposite meaning: Introvert (i totally failed this assignment im sure........... but at least my drawing is...nice..i guesss.... sigh :/)
Oh well, I'm here to learn! There will be more projects to come
