Pinky Swear

Alongside my new found positivity and happiness, I'm going to make it a goal to post on this blog regularly. Hopefully I will update with progress and pieces from all my (fantastic) illustration classes this semester. I am incredibly excited for what's to come and am beyond motivated to stay focus and work hard! Stay tuned!

For now, here are (some) of the pieces I made in Illustration 2 with Alexis Mahrus. Maybe not my absolute best work, but big growing points were made nonetheless.

Here they are in order of when I made them

1. Illustration for children's book on animal facts. My fact was: Rabbits can see behind them without turning their heads.

2. Poster for a charity: Bike Kitchen

This is the sketch before I painted it (I am so attached to my linework.. hopefully with practice I'll be able to bridge the gap between salvaging my lines but taking them a step further)

3. Illustrate a word: Hibernate

4. Illustrate a short story: The Dala Horse from Torr.com

Okay that's all I really want to share for now! You will be hearing from me again!
Thanks!

  2. Love love love the illustration of the rabbit and the pig! So clever. And the bike one is so cool! You rock, Minnie! I would loove to collaborate with you on a piece for my blog, or write something to accompany one of your artworks on your blog :)
